The vacuum’s auto fill and drain cycles simplify the pond cleaning process. Water fills the vacuum canister before being discharged into your garden or yard drains. The on/off cycle consists of 70 seconds of vacuuming and 35 seconds of draining. As the holding tank fills with dirty water during the vacuum cycle, the motor automatically turns off when full. The dirty water then drains out through the drain hose, and the vacuum turns itself back on automatically to continue cleaning once empty. To capture coarse debris, use the optional mesh bag before releasing the dirty water. The nutrient-rich pond water will nourish your garden plants, but be sure not to return the dirty water to the pond.

The Matala Pond Vacuum PRO is ideal for hobbyist ponds up to 10,000 gallons, making it an excellent choice for larger ponds. The holding tank has a 9.5-gallon capacity, and the vacuum includes five 15-inch extension tubes, allowing you to reach depths of up to 6 feet.
